Banana Milkshake (Batido de Plátano)
Banana Milkshake (Batido de Plátano) was a very popular drink in my home as a kid. Quick and easy to make, it was an great way for my family to get me to drink a healthy treat.

- 1 large Banana, ripe
- 1 cup Milk, whole
- 3 tbs Sugar, to taste
- Pinch of Salt
- 2 scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream or ½ cup crushed ice
- In a blender, add banana, milk, sugar and salt and puree until smooth.
- Add ice cream or crushed ice and continue blending until the shake is thick and smooth in consistency.
- Serve immediately.
Inspired by the many batidos that I had growing up.
