Banana Milkshake (Batido de Plátano) was a very popular drink in my home as a kid. Quick and easy to make, it was an great way for my family to get me to drink a healthy treat.

Serves: 1
  • 1 large Banana, ripe
  • 1 cup Milk, whole
  • 3 tbs Sugar, to taste
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream or ½ cup crushed ice
  1. In a blender, add banana, milk, sugar and salt and puree until smooth.
  2. Add ice cream or crushed ice and continue blending until the shake is thick and smooth in consistency.
  3. Serve immediately.
