Homemade Kahlua can be used to make cocktails and as a topping or ingredient in several desserts, including ice cream, cakes, and cheesecakes. It can also be mixed with milk, cream, coffee, cocoa, and combinations of these. It also makes a great gift!
Ingredients
4 cups Water
½ tsp Salt
3 cups Sugar
½ cup Instant Coffee
3 tbs Vanilla Extract
3 cups Vodka
Instructions
Bring water, salt, sugar, and coffee to a boil.
Reduce heat, add vanilla and simmer 1 hour.
After 1 hour... Add vodka, remove from heat and let cool ½ hour.
When cool... Pour into clean bottles.
