This Sausage & Ham Jambalaya recipe is quick, easy and yummy! This dish can also be made with Chicken, Shrimp, other meats or seafood.

Ingredients
- 1 lb Smoked Sausage, pre-cooked and cut into bite-size pieces
- ½ lb Ham, pre-cooked and cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 box of Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix
- 2½ cups Water
- 2 tbs Vegetable Oil
Instructions
Mise en place
- Cut sausage and ham into bite-size pieces.
- Portion water and oil.
Cook jambalaya
- Mix water and vegetable oil in a 3-quart saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Add Jambalaya mix and meat of your choice, mix well. Return to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 25 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed and rice is tender.
- Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
- Fluff with fork before serving.
Notes
This dish can also be made with Chicken, Shrimp, other meats or seafood.
If using shrimp, add during last 10 minutes of cooking time. Cook until Shrimp turn pink. If using Chicken, it must be pre-cooked.
