Ribeye Steak Tacos are tender, taste delicious and are a great way to use some of those steak leftovers from the night before.

  • ½ lb Ribeye Steak, thinly sliced
  • ¼ Onion, sliced thin & sauteed
  • 1-2 cups Lettuce, shredded
  • ½ Tomato, diced
  • ½ Avocado, sliced thin
  • 2 tbs Cilantro, chopped
  • 6" Soft Flour Tortillas
  • 1-2 tsp Sour Cream per taco
  • Hot or Mild Taco Sauce, to taste
Mise en place
  1. Grill or fry ribeye steak (or similar cut of meat) and slice thin.
  2. Slice onions thin and saute.
  3. Shred lettuce.
  4. Dice tomatoes.
  5. Slice avocado.
  6. Chop cilantro.
Put tacos together
  1. Heat tortillas.
  2. Add ribeye, topped with onions, lettuce, tomato, cilantro, avocado, taco sauce and sour cream.
  3. Serve with yellow or Spanish rice.
This recipe was prepared with ½ lb of Ribeye Steak left-over from the previous evening.
